The tree is starring at the cloud,
The cloud is gazing on back.
The tree then asked if she would stay,
But the wind goes and takes her away.
Well His branches wept as the leaves fell off,
And his bark dried up from the sun.
The cloud was its source of shade and of rain,
The comfort had now turned into pain.
As the tree then waited through winter and spring,
The cloud then finally came back.
Waiting with open arms and a heart,
The cloud did not know where to start.
She said “I've met someone in a place far away,
A tree so stunning and wild.
I'm sorry to leave you but he is the one,
Who I want to protect and to love”.
A few years pass and the tree was falling down,
Until a rare cloud in the sky floated by.
She said “Hi I don't know you but you look so sad,
I was wondering if you needed a friend”.
He said “I feel so weak and this sun is too much,
I’ve been feeling so down for some time…
But your shade and your comfort has given me strength
and I feel like my life’s in your eyes".
