Traveling along across the roads of despair.
I dream in my mind that I’ll be home soon again.
But where is a home when you stay in one place for a year?
Unstable at this time I follow the lines.
That will lead me towards a new burning light.
And like moths to a flame we will all be ignited for life.
If I am the mountain,
Then you are the trees
You're smothering, yet comforting.
And when the wind blows,
Right on through your leaves,
Know I’ll handle it all with ease.
Problems persist but we don't give up hope.
We just sit there and wait for a sign or a note.
That’s telling us we need to clean up our act or we’re done.
It takes more than two in fact it takes a whole family.
To find out what true love really means.
And you never understand until someone you love has been lost.
If I am the mountain,
Then you are the sea.
Watching from far, but close to me.
And when the wind blows,
Your waves in the breeze,
Know I’ll handle it all with ease.
But life never changes,
We still stand our ground.
With a pain in our heart,
But a smile in a crowd.
Well I'm hoping that I will be able to turn this around.
If I am the mountain,
Then you are the trees
You're smothering, yet comforting.
And when the wind blows,
Right on through your leaves,
Know I’ll handle it all with ease.
If I am the mountain,
Then you are the sea.
Watching from far, but close to me.
And when the wind blows,
Your waves in the breeze,
Know I’ll handle it all with ease.
